STEFANIA ACCORSI
Mrs Stefania Accorsi graduated in Analytical Inorganic Chemistry in 2004, specializing with a Master’s Degree in Integrated Management Systems for Quality, Safety and Environment.
Immediately after, she was hired by a leading multinational company in the hydraulics field, where she held the role of Metrology Manager for over 10 years, working in various Italian and foreign locations of the group. During this period, she developed excellent skills in metrology and management at an international level, also working as a corporate trainer and auditor for the Quality and Environment Integrated System.
She was also tasked with managing the first Clean Production corporate project, carried out in collaboration with the first Italian laboratory accredited for this type of testing, aimed at implementing the Component Cleanliness Management (CCM) system in the several manufacturing plants of the group.
In the following years, she held the position of Laboratory Manager and Quality Manager at an accredited calibration laboratory, bringing it to obtain new accreditations and the certification of the Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This experience allowed her to develop strong skills in ISO 17025 and ISO 17043 standards, as well as in Operations Management in the context of Lean Production in manufacturing and service companies.
In 2020, she founded SA Quality for Metrology, a company that provides consultancy and training services in the fields of Metrology, Quality and Component Cleanliness, in which she personally holds the roles of Consultant, Auditor and Trainer. In addition to collaborating with companies and laboratories, she organizes educational projects in cooperation with organizations, high schools and training centres.
In 2022, SA Quality for Metrology was accredited by the Italian body Accredia as a Proficiency Testing Provider in the field of calibration, a certification that allows the company to organize Interlaboratory Comparisons at an international level. In this context, Mrs Stefania Accorsi also holds the role of Proficiency Testing Provider Manager.
